The City of Williams Lake has launched its new website.
The website, www.williamslake.ca., includes public notices and a “what’s new” feature, as well as “I Want to” shortcuts to common requests, such as “I want to appear before council” or “I want to find a bylaw.”
Through the website, the public can also report problems such as potholes and street light outages, or inquire about animal licences, property taxes, or to contact city hall.
The City has also started a Twitter feed (@CityWL) and a Facebook page (www.facebook.com/CityWilliamsLake).
These social media sites will feature media releases, council highlights, upcoming meetings of council, and other information updates.
