A four-way stop will be installed at 10th Avenue and Smedley Street July 9.
The City of Williams Lake asks residents and motorists to take note of the change from a two-way to a four-way stop.
City council approved the four-way stop at its June 19 meeting after receiving a letter signed by 13 area residents requesting a four-way stop. The letter cited concerns over the high rate of speed of vehicles that travel down 10th Avenue.
The city says it will inform property owners in the intersection's vicinity.
