City council to be sworn in Tuesday

Williams Lake's new city council will be officially sworn in Tuesday evening at city hall.

Williams Lake's new city council will be officially sworn in Tuesday at the regular council meeting.

The new city council will be sworn in Tuesday, Dec. 2 at city hall during the regular council meeting beginning at 6 p.m.

Chief Administrative Officer Darrell Garceau , will announce and conduct the ceremony, naming mayor Walt Cobb, and councillors Ivan Bonnell, Scott Nelson, Jason Ryll, Craig Smith, Laurie Walters and Sue Zacharias.

Cobb will also announce council appointments to committees.

A reception in the foyer will follow the meeting.
