A check stop near Hanceville resulted in the discovery of 700 grams of marijuana and a large sum of cash.
The RCMP’s integrated road safety unit was conducting a check point on Highway 20 on Friday, July 29 when it made the find.
A male has appeared in court and has been released. Charges of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking have been laid against Guy Robert Bowe of Vancouver.
The investigation is ongoing.
