WorldHost trainer Sherri Heraid was presented her certificate by Williams Lake and District Chamber of Commerce president Jason Ryll during the chamber's monthly luncheon held May 31 at Signal Point Gaming Centre.

The new WorldHost trainer in Williams Lake is Sherri Heraid. She replaces Pat Lingholt, who delivered the program for many years and has now retired.

After Heraid participated in the training by Master Trainer Suzanne she returned to obtain more hands-on experience.

“Pat took the initial lead in Sherri’s training and we are confident that she is going to do really well in the community,” said Claudia Blair, executive director, Williams Lake and District Chamber of Commerce.

WorldHost Training Services was launched as the SuperHostR program in 1985, offering customer service training for EXPO ‘86 in B.C.

Since then, the program has expanded, evolved and rebranded to become the standard for customer service excellence in B.C., as well as an internationally recognized leader in training for the tourism industry.

The program provides affordable, relevant and quality customer service training solutions for front-line staff and managers. Individuals obtaining WorldHost certification gain the skills and confidence required to excel at customer service.

“Everyone can benefit from this type of training, young folks looking for summer employment to seniors who want to volunteer in Williams Lake,” Blair said.
