This week the Williams Lake and District Chamber of Commerce announced two upcoming local government candidate forums.
The first one will take place on Monday, Oct. 27.
In partnership with the Social Planning Committee and the BC Northern Real Estate Board, the chamber will present a ‘Councillor’s Candidates Forum’ to be held in the Gibraltar Room at the Cariboo Memorial Complex.
All councillor candidates for city council will be invited to participate.
The forum will be from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
There will be no charge to the public to attend this event.
At the second forum, being held Tuesday, Oct. 28, presented by the same three parties, the candidates running for mayor will be on hand.
It will take place at the Pioneer Complex for a luncheon at 11:30 a.m.
Tickets at $20 each will be sold in advance because space is limited.
