CCRHD provides support to recruitment and retention efforts

The Cariboo Chilcotin Regional Hospital District continued its support of recruitment and retention efforts in the region during the Cariboo Regional District’s board meeting this month.

The CCRHD Recruitment and Retention Fund assists the health authorities and communities within the regional district in their efforts to recruit and retain medical professionals and support staff, as well as to provide a contribution to the Northern Medical Program Trust.

During the Sept. 21 CCRHD board meeting, the board committed to provide $30,000 to the Northern Medical Trust annually for the next three years, as well as increasing the CCRHD Recruitment Fund by $5,000 to $35,000 annually in each of the south, central and north areas.
