It is unknown what caused a 40-minute power outage Friday morning in Williams Lake, said BC Hydro spokesperson Dave Mosure.
“The power was out from 9:36 a.m. until 10:11 a.m. Crews patrolled the line, thinking perhaps a branch had caused the outage, but couldn’t find anything. They re-energized the line by putting in a new fuse at the power station.”
A power outage on Thursday evening, that impacted 1,243 customers along Highway 20 and out as far as Kleena Kleene, lasted from from 6:24 p.m. to 11:15 p.m.
Mosure said the outage was caused by a logging truck leaving the road.
