There are many mother cats and kittens available for adoption, said BC SPCA Williams Lake and District branch manager Liz Dighton Tuesday.
“We are definitely busy,” Dighton told the Tribune.
The branch has also been “flooded” with stray dogs the last few days, but none of them are up for adoption because staff are trying to connect them with their owners.
One exception is a three-month-old puppy named Vanessa, who is available for adoption, Dighton said.
“We believe she is a Rottweiler Shepherd mix but as no parents were found we cannot be positive.”
