Gasoline is once again available at the Petro Canada station on Oliver street, after Suncor's refinery in Edmonton was repaired.

An outage at one of the refinery's units in Edmonton, coupled with the Fort McMurray fires hampering the ability to bring crude oil out of the oil sands resulted in the gasoline shortage.

Stations across parts of B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba were impacted.

"Now that the refinery work is done, we are in the process of replenishing out sites," said Suncor spokesperson Sneh Seetal this week.
