Snow is falling Boxing Day in Williams Lake with Environment Canada showing a total of five centimetres of snow expected.

It is presently -4C at the Williams Lake airport and a low of -9C in the forecast overnight. The wind chill is near -13C.

A mix of sun and clouds is anticipated for Thursday, with a high of -7C and a wind chill near -11C.

Drivebc is reporting compact snow on Highway 20 and Highway 97 with slippery sections.
