Deb Bischoff, CRD Area D representative and chair of the library committee, shows off some of the books that have been collected as part of the CRD libraries’ bid to collect books for Slave Lake. That community’s library was destroyed in this spring’s wildfires. So far, 250 books have been collected. The public can still donate at their local CRD library branch. Donated books must not be more than three years old and be in excellent condition.
