Billy acquitted

Kurtis Billy, who was charged with a number of offences following alleged thefts from vehicles in 2010, was acquitted earlier this week.

A 23-year-old man, who was charged with a number of offences following alleged thefts from vehicles in 2010, was acquitted earlier this week.

Kurtis Billy had been charged with possession of stolen property, possession of break-and-enter instruments, failing to comply with an undertaking, and trespass by night.

In Williams Lake on Tuesday, July 19, Billy was acquitted of all charges except for one breach of curfew. He was sentenced to one day in jail for the breach.
