“We have investigated five complaints involving bear spray in the month of May,” Williams Lake RCMP Sgt. Rick LeBeuf said.

On Tuesday, May 20 at 7:27 a.m. the RCMP responded to a bear spray incident in the 600 Block of Carson Drive.

They arrived to find a window had been broken and the bear spray released inside the house through the window.

A vehicle description resulted in the arrest of an 18-year-old male. The matter is still under investigation.
