Atlantic Power is inviting the public to attend an open house on its renewal project and its application to burn shredded rail ties at the Williams Lake plant.

Representatives from the Ministry of Environment, Atlantic Power’s Renewal Project team, Atlantic Power’s air modelling and health impacts consultants and the Interior Health Authority will be on hand to answer questions about the company’s draft permit, its renewal project and the studies and reviews related to the project.

The meeting goes Tuesday, June 28 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Gibraltar Room.
