Fentanyl, methamphetamine and heroin were just some of the suspected substances seized, and a number of arrests were made, following the search of a residence on Soda Creek Road Thursday evening, Aug. 23.
Williams Lake RCMP said the investigation began over the July long weekend. Subsequently, a search warrant was executed on the residence.
Police seized a variety of drugs suspected to be fentanyl, heroin, methamphetamine, cocaine, testosterone, anndrol, numerous miscellaneous pills, drug paraphernalia and other evidence to support drug trafficking.

Seizures of firearms, prohibited weapons and a large sum of cash were also made.
Williams Lake RCMP continue to target individuals involved in these types of repeated offences.
said OIC Williams Lake Detachment, Insp. Jeff Pelley. “Drugs and weapons offences remain a high priority of the RCMP, especially those who are alleged to be trafficking fentanyl.”
Police said six individuals were arrested in connection with this investigation. They could face possible charges in connection with drug possession and trafficking, as well as firearms related offences.
Names of the suspects are being withheld until formal charges are laid.
The arrests were made by the Williams Lake Crime Reduction Unit, General Duty Members and Police Dog Services.
The RCMP said they continue to work closely with the BC Prosecution Services in relation to this investigation. The matter is set for Wednesday Dec. 19, 2018 in Williams Lake Provincial Court.
