Two all-candidates meetings are scheduled tonight and Thursday to allow the public to hear what those vying for the job of MP have to say.

The first meeting, organized by the Council of Canadians, takes place tonight (Wednesday, April 20) at 7 p.m. in the great room of the Arts Centre next to city hall.

So far, candidates Dick Harris (Conservative), Jon Van Barneveld (NDP), Heidi Redl (Green), and John Ronan (Independent) are confirmed to attend.

People from the audience will be able to ask the candidates questions.

Then, on Thursday, April 21, another all-candidates meeting is scheduled to take place at Wildwood elementary at 7 p.m.

So far, five candidates, including Harris, Van Barneveld, Redl, Jordan Turner (Rhinocerous party) and Ronan are expected to attend the Wildwood meeting, which is organized by the Wildwood Community Association.

It's not yet known if Liberal candidate Sangeeta Lalli or Christian Heritage party candidate Henry Thiessen will attend.

The forum in Wildwood will start off with a brief introduction from each attending candidate, followed by questions submitted to the candidates and questions from the audience.
