Alcohol is believed to be a factor in a single vehicle accident in the 300 block of Mackenzie Avenue South that took place around 12:30 a.m. on Nov. 13.

While the cause of the accident has not been determined, Williams Lake RCMP Inspector Warren Brown said one adult male driver was taken to Cariboo Memorial Hospital for minor injuries, and two power poles on the side of the road were mowed down causing a power outage.
