The annual Williams Lake and District 4-H Show and Sale begins Friday.
It takes place at the Williams Lake Stockyards from Aug. 19 to 24 and will include 4-H clubs from around the region featuring livestock products such as beef, poultry and swine and non-livestock products, such as photography works, crafts, and gardening.
4-H club members are excited to show the public their projects they have diligently been working on over the last year.
The 4-H Club program is made up of youth between the ages of six and 21 and develops community awareness, leadership skills, and a variety of agriculture and farming skills.
Clubs from the Williams Lake and 100 Mile House districts, including Springhouse, Horsefly, Rose Lake-Miocene, Big Lake, Chimney Valley, Chilcotin, Lone Butte, Canim Valley, and Highland will show off their work.
Prizes will be awarded and animals will be available to purchase.
