The theme for the 2011 Dry Grad is “Around the World.”

This will include spectacular decorations representing China, Greece, Italy, Mexico, France, India, and much more.

This is a large undertaking and many more volunteers are greatly needed. Regular work bees will be held every Tuesday evenings at 6:30 p.m.

Work space has been graciously donated at the location of the (former) Bread Bin at Hodgson Place Mall, near the Bank of Montreal.

Everyone is welcome.

During the month of February, the 2011 Dry Grad fundraiser is a meat sale in partnership with Margetts Meat Market.

Margetts is offering a selection of meats, with a portion of the proceeds going toward Dry Grad.

Students will be selling individual boxed meats as well as “Big Meat Packs.”

This is a limited-time fundraiser and all orders must be in by Feb. 28.

For more information, please contact Cary at (250) 398-8802.

Columneetza Secondary School and Williams Lake Secondary School will both hold Valentine’s themed bake sales at their perspective schools, with all proceeds going to Dry Grad.

Also, people can support Dry Grad by donating their empty bottles and cans to the Dry Grad account at Amanda Enterprises.

For more information please contact Sylvie (250) 303-1692.

The Dry Grad committee, as well as the grads, wants to thank the community for its ongoing support!
