Job seekers and aspiring students in Northern British Columbia are invited to explore the array of career and educational opportunities available at the Prince George Hiring & Post-Secondary Education Expo, this Nov. 14 at the Ramada Hotel!

The free event runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., bringing together a wide range of exhibitors, including local employers, industry leaders and educational institutions.

“The expo is all about providing a platform for people to connect directly with potential employers and educators,” says Event Manager, Amanda Perley. 

With more than 30 exhibitors already confirmed, attendees can expect an engaging day full of networking opportunities, resume advice and insights into the latest career trends.

Key opportunities for job seekers

Among the employers present, BC Corrections, RCMP and CN Rail will be recruiting for various roles, offering positions for those looking to enter law enforcement, transportation and public service sectors. 

In addition,organizations such as the IBEW Local 993 and Canadian Vocational Training Centre will share information on training and apprenticeship programs.

Representatives from Discovery Community College will also be available to discuss educational programs for anyone considering new qualifications or a career change.
