Tuesday night Sponsor league wrapped up Tuesday, March 11, with all teams playing a one game playoff to determine final standings.
In the championship game Tsi Del Del Enterprise took on Hub International for bragging rights. Tsi Del Del scored two in the first and forced Hub International to take one in the second end. Tsi Del Del skip Groundwater was able to score two points again in the third and Hub skip Jeannotte was unable to score in the fourth giving up two more.
Jeannotte made a nice hit and roll to take one in the fifth and were successful in forcing Groundwater to only one point in the sixth. Hub International made a precision raise to score one in the seventh. Tsi Del Del matched Hub shot for shot running Jeannotte out of rocks in the eighth to win the league.
In other games it was:
Williams Lake Credit Union defeating Speedy Petey's for third place,
Cariboo GM over Ground Releaf for fifth place,
Celtic Group in extra ends defeating Timber Service for seventh place,
Windsor Plywood over Boston Pizza for ninth place.
It was an exciting year having six new teams join the league. While the full year standings may show some distance from first to last place, games were close and competitive all year.
