In Central Interior Hockey League action, the Williams Lake Stampeders played against the Prince Rupert Rampage and Terrace River Kings on home ice Oct. 26 and 27.
They beat the Rampage 5-2 in the Saturday night game and fell to the River Kings 0-2 on Sunday afternoon, both games held at the Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex.
During the game, local first responders were honoured and gained free admission to the game as a token of appreciation from the team for their continued efforts in the Williams Lake area.
According to the CIHL standings, the Stamps Brendan Pigeon is number one for points from goals and assists so far this season.
He's played five games, got five goals and eight assists.
Stamps player Kaleb Boyle is sharing the number 10 spot with four other players in the league.
He has played five games, scored three goals and four assists.
Dawson Foerster is at the number 14 spot, with three games played, three goals and four assists.
The team's next home game is Sunday, Nov. 10 against the Hazelton Wolverines.
