The dust has settled on the 96th annual Williams Lake Stampede after the fourth performance wrapped up on July 1.
The weather held out and the crowd, while smaller than the two previous days, still came out and cheered on the participants.
Kayle Hartman of 100 Mile House won the Wild Cowgirl Race championship buckle, her second year in a row taking top spot and sixth time racing the event at the Stampede.
Oliver Lindley of Merritt won the top spot in the Mountain Race event, riding a horse owned by Amanda Lulua. Lindley said he planned to use his winnings to buy himself a new horse.
Look for some unofficial results coming soon in the Williams Lake Tribune.
