Thompson Rivers University’s (TRU) Williams Lake hosts its annual Open House on Tuesday, Oct. 22, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The event will be for prospective students, families and community members to explore the campus and discover what it has to offer.
There will be interactive displays, campus tours, door prizes and booths featuring TRU programs, and local community vendors. Visitors can meet faculty, ask questions about programs and explore the resources available to support students.
“Our open house is a great way for people to connect with us and see firsthand what studying at TRU Williams Lake looks like,” said Kim Kimberlin, marketing, student recruitment and events co-ordinator.
“We want to make it easy for people to explore their options, whether they’re thinking about starting a new program or just curious about what’s happening on campus.”
Attendees can take guided tours to get an inside look at the facilities and participate in hands-on demos and booths that showcase the unique learning experiences at TRU Williams Lake. Community vendors will also be on site, reinforcing the connections between TRU and the broader Williams Lake community.
