RCMP investigate after man located with multiple stab wounds in Williams Lake

Police believe the incident occurred between the OV Pub and McDonald’s Restaurant

Williams Lake RCMP are searching for a suspect or suspects after a 26-year-old man was found suffering from multiple stab wounds Tuesday evening.

Staff Sgt. Del Byron said the victim was located at the Ramada Hotel just after 9 p.m., however, the incident appears to have occurred in the Broadway Avenue South area between the hotel pub and McDonald’s, Byron said.

“Video (surveillance) in the area will be obtained.”

Police are asking anyone with information to contact the detachment at 250-392-6211 or CrimeStoppers.

The victim’s injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
