A man who turned his own life around from substance use disorder will be giving a talk in Williams Lake on Wednesday, Feb. 26.
Guy Felicella is an international public speaker and advocate for drug policy reform.
He was homeless, involved with gangs, and survived overdoses in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside.
Everyone is invited to listen to his presentation where he will talk about harm reduction and recovery.
He will be at the Cariboo Chilcotin Child Development Centre gym from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
His appearance is being presented by BGC Williams Lake, the Child Development Centre, Foundry Cariboo Chilcotin, Cletwilcten and Holding Hope with Moms Stop the Harm.
It is a free event.
