Driver sent to hospital after rolling off-road vehicle

Motorists assist before emergency crews arrive

A lone male sustained injuries after being ejected from his off-road vehicle near the corner of Dog Creek Road and Highway 20 Wednesday evening.

Williams Lake RCMP Staff Sgt. Del Byron said the incident occurred just before 9 p.m. and saw the driver get ejected out of the Polaris Razor he was driving without a helmet when it rolled.

Motorists in the area did stop and stay with the driver until emergency crews arrived on scene.

Byron noted the matter is still under investigation and alcohol is suspected.

The driver’s injuries are believed to not be life threatening.
