One charge of robbery and another of wearing a disguise with intent to commit an offence were sworn against Christopher Michael Swain in Williams Lake Wednesday.
Swain, 39, will remain in custody until his next court appearance scheduled for 11 a.m. Dec. 13 in Williams Lake Provincial Court.
The charges stem from an incident at the CIBC bank on Oliver Street Tuesday afternoon where an attempt was made to rob the bank.
Swain is from 100 Mile House.
