We would like to send a huge bouquet of roses to say how thankful we are to Ms. McCoubrey's Grade 7 class at Columneetza.
My mom has a huge, beautiful maple tree in her yard and when the leaves fall, there are a lot! I was outside trying to figure out how I was going to deal with all of them when I heard a group of school children.
Ms. McCoubrey came running over and asked if they could have our leaves for their compost at school. Many young happy hands made light work of it and they took away a dozen bags of leaves.
We are very grateful for their kindness right before Thanksgiving weekend.
