We would like to extend our deepest gratitude for the support we received in our fundraising events this summer. It was heartwarming and wonderful to see so many people come together to celebrate Chelsea's life and passion for adventure at the annual ATV ride and our fundraising dinner where we were thrilled to announce that we raised $17,465! The donations are continuing to come in making our goal of raising $25,000 this year a reality.
One hundred per cent of the funds raised will go directly to the Chelsea Lewis Memorial Bursary, which supports women in Williams Lake and Area pursuing trades education at Thompson Rivers University.
We also want to express our sincere appreciation to everyone who participated in our raffle. The generosity of those who donated baskets was truly remarkable. We invite everyone to visit the Adventures For Chelsea Facebook page to see the lucky winners and the list of contributing businesses as well as the pictures from the ATV ride.
Once again, thank you for your support and for helping us keep Chelsea's spirit alive. We are deeply touched by the community's response and are excited to continue growing these events in the future.
