Bunches of roses to everyone who was on duty in the ER at Cariboo Memorial Hospital the afternoon of Friday, Dec. 29, 2023, when I came in with a severed index finger.
I received prompt, courteous, caring attention from everyone I came in contact with that day - from security staff to nurses, Dr. Keith, the x-ray tech, and BC Ambulance attendants who shuttled me to the airport, and on to Vancouver General Hospital.
An extra bouquet to Dr. Keith who took the time to get a second opinion on the recommended course of action - it probably saved my finger. Thank you all so much!
