In memory of my dear Chelsea!
It's been 2 years since the tragic loss of my precious daughter Chelsea Lewis (Spaans). There is no greater loss than losing a child, especially your only child. On that day two years ago, half of my being died as well. Nothing will ever be the same for myself, my partner Scott Fraser, the rest of my family, and most importantly my Mom (Oma). Oma was such a huge influence in Chelsea's upbringing and for the rest of her short life. Chelsea always confided in her no matter what. As a young child, Chelsea was very shy and always looked up to me for support and comfort. Chelsea loved to be tucked in and loved her back rubbed by Mom until she fell asleep until the age of 15. Chelsea loved the outdoors, especially swimming, hiking, biking, and many other activities. Also, she enjoyed making dance music videos and being a practical joker because she loved to make people laugh. She loved making cupcakes to bring to school. Chelsea was such an amazing and beautiful person inside and out. She was kind, pleasant, Smart, caring, grateful, hardworking, loving and a true friend to many. She was loved by everyone she met. She accomplished so much in her short years and understood how to do many things which she achieved with ease. She loved her surprise weekend getaways with family and friends. Enjoyed going to Holland with Mom and Oma twice; meeting her Dutch relatives was an exciting time and experience for her. Chelsea was so very proud of her GMC Jimmy that she had bought with her own money. That was her pride and joy. Always took her Dog Brooke (also known as Hogger or Hog Dog) wherever she went. I would like to thank my family, close friends and many people who helped me through this grieving process. I'm so grateful to Scott Fraser for being there for me. Also, we would like to thank all the people who donated towards Chelsea's bursary. For young women in trades. So much appreciated.
In loving memory of my darling daughter Chelsea Lewis (Spaans)
Missed & never forgotten by family, friends, and people she met along the way.
With Loving regards,
Tanja Spaans (Her Mom)
I Love you forever and miss you always.
Until we meet again
My sweet Angel.
