100 Mile House RCMP are seeking the public's assistance in locating a stolen boat and trailer

100 Mile House RCMP are seeking the public's assistance in locating a stolen boat and trailer taken from the Horse Lake area.

Sgt. Brian Lamb said that RCMP received a report on Oct. 27 of a theft of a boat and a trailer from a property near Fallsway Road in the Horse Lake area. Lamb said at some point during the last week, an unknown individual(s) stole a black 2023 Thunder Jet Alexis Pro on a Karavan Trailer with BC license plate WRL94S. He noted the boat is 22 feet long and has its registration number BC8777772 printed on the side of its hull.

"A large amount of fishing tackle, rods, reels, survival suits, and downriggers were also taken," Lamb said.

RCMP ask anyone who has seen a boat or trailer matching this description or who has information about the theft to contact them at 250-395-2456 or anonymously 24 hours a day at Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online at bccrimestoppers.com .
