Xat’sull Heritage Village is hosting its second cultural event of the 2011 season on Aug. 13.
The public is invited to Celebrate the Salmon with the band and enjoy traditional cultural activities. There will be fishing and fish preparation demonstrations; traditional dancing, singing and drumming, story telling, traditional arts and crafts; workshops and traditional local food.
Guided tours of the village will also be provided. Doors open at 11 a.m. with arts and craft tables. Lunch is at noon. Performances begin at 1 p.m. Tours, workshops and demonstrations begin at 2 p.m. Xat’sull Heritage Village is located right on the Fraser River.
