The Horsefly Musical Theatre Group is taking a romp through the 1970s with its Horsefly Follies show Follywood in the 70s.

The skits are loose interpretations of TV sitcoms and shows of the 1970s and promise lots of giggles.

The Horsefly Follies troupe kicks off its two-week run this Friday evening with a special performance for children and youth 18 and under.

The entry fee at the door is just $2 for ages 18 and under and $6 for adults.

There will be a concession during this special showing starging at 7 p.m.

Co-director Christina Mary says there are still lots of tickets for this Friday’s show and the adult show Saturday, April 30, but tickets are selling fast for the May 6 adult show and almost sold out for the final May 7 adult show.

Start times for the adult shows are 7:30 p.m. with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.

There will also be nightly door prizes and auctions.

The regular shows include a bar and are for adults only with tickets at $12.50 each available in advance at Clarkes Store.

Proceeds from the shows go to the Horsefly Community Club for various ongoing programs such as the swim program, Volunteer Fire Department, Old Fashioned Christmas, Halloween party, and other worthy community projects.
