Juno award winner Gary Fjellgaard and friends Saskia and Darrel will hold a concert at St. Andrew’s United Church on April 28.
The concert is a partial fundraiser for the Cariboo Friendship Society and the Choices program which is promoting the concert and will sell hand-made native crafts before and during the intermission.
Saskia and Darrel organize and play well over 100 partial benefit concerts each year.
They play as a duo or together with their friend, the legendary Gary Fjellgaard. Saskia realized early in her career how rewarding and worthwhile it was to combine raising awareness and raising funds for today’s pressing issues and community projects, along with making the music she loves.
Advance tickets are $20 and available at Bean Counter Bistro, Sight and Sound and also at the door.
