The deadline for children and teens to submit work for exhibition in the February show at the Station House Gallery is coming up this Tuesday, Jan. 25.
The exhibition is open to children and teens ages five to 18. Selected submissions will be exhibited in the main gallery from Feb. 4-26.
The upper gallery will feature art created by children during the Station House’s summer art classes.
The opening reception will be on Feb. 3 from 5-7:30 p.m.
Submission forms are available by calling the gallery at 250-392-6113 or by e-mail at curator@stationhousegallery.com.
Participants may submit up to three works of art, which will stay in the gallery until the exhibition has ended. All work submitted must be framed and/or ready for display to gallery standards (i.e.: matting and framing must be professional; frames/canvases must be fixed with hanging wire).
Parents/guardians are responsible for delivery and retrieval of work submitted.
Artworks must be delivered to the gallery on or before Jan. 28 and may be retrieved after Feb. 28.
