The Williams Lake branch of Canadian Parents for French is bringing popular children’s entertainer Charlotte Diamond to the lakecity. Diamond will perform at the Gibraltar Room Thursday, June 9. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the show starts at 6 p.m.
The mobile food truck from the Sugar Shack in 70 Mile House will be there with traditional French Canadian treats for those who wish to arrive early and make an evening of it, says event co-ordinator Leslie Rowse.
Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door and are available at Taylor Made Cakes and Kit and Kaboodle.
Diamond will also give two school concerts at Nesika Elementary School, on Wednesday, June 8. Nesika is home to the elementary French immersion program.
