Youth show videos Sunday at WLSS Commons

The St. Joseph’s Mission Residential School Commemorative Project will be hosting a showing of the youth videos this Sunday.

The St. Joseph’s Mission Residential School Commemorative Project will be hosting a showing of the youth videos on the question What is Reconciliation?, which was completed earlier this week.

Youth involved in the project are Sadie Johnson, Tiffany Boston, Ses Jack, and Warner Davis.

The screening will take place on Sunday, April 28 at 1 p.m. in the Williams Lake Secondary School Commons area.

Following the youth video showing, there will be a screening of the NFB Canada film We Were Children which profiled the residential school program in Canada and was recently aired on APTN.

This screening is the co-sponsored by the Williams Lake and District Credit Union and the Cariboo Regional District Library, Williams Lake branch.
