wood sculptor helps to support 139 Children’s society

Sandi Middleton took her bid up over $1200 to take home this beautiful mask from the 139 Children’s Fundraising Society auction held at the Legion last Saturday. The artist Sidney LaMarche (left) carved and donated two traditional First Nations masks for the auction.

Sandi Middleton took her bid up over $1200 to take home this beautiful mask from the 139 Children’s Fundraising Society auction held at the Legion last Saturday. The artist Sidney LaMarche (left) carved and donated two traditional First Nations masks for the auction. The second mask sold for $650. Middleton says she and her husband, Jim, have been longtime supporters of the 139 Children’s Fundraising Society. “I am very happy,” Sandi says. “As soon as we saw it we knew it was the right thing for us.” Sandi says.
