Hundreds of people are in Botanio Park enjoying the Williams Lake's first annual winter carnival taking place Saturday and Sunday.
People are sledding, cross-country skiing, throwing snowballs, warming up inside of teepees or taking a horse-drawn sleigh ride to name a few of the many activities available going on until 3 p.m. Saturday and again from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Sunday.
The Lions Club is serving breakfast each day, beginning at 9 a.m. and other food vendors are in the park as well.
