Williams Lake Station House Gallery presents trivia, art and pub eats event

An Artful Night Out will be held at the TRU café May 10

An evening of art treasures, trivia and food is planned for Friday, May 10 in Williams Lake.

Billing it as An Artful Night Out, the Station House Gallery invites the community to put together a trivia team, although it is not a requirement, and join in for a fun time at the Thompson Rivers University Williams Lake café.

“There will be an unbelievable grand prize for the trivia,” said Station House executive director Davana Stafford.

Leading up to the event, there are samples of some of the art that will be up for auction May 10 on display in the upper gallery of the Station House available for blind bids.

Bids will be accepted up until Saturday, April 27.

The art comes from the Pemberton, William Matthews, Anne Moutray and Dale Thomson/Mas Bando collections, plus donated works by Gladys Wheatley, including a hand painted table and chairs for a raffle.

“Gladys has very generously donated it to the gallery,” Stafford said. “There are only going to be 150 tickets printed.”

During the An Artful Night Out there will be silent, live and blind auctions and pub eats created by Crystal Baba.

Attendees must be 19-plus to attend.

Tickets are available at the Station House Gallery $25 each.

All proceeds from the event will go toward the programs offered at the gallery.
