The Thursday evening summer Performances in the Park series wrapped up Aug. 22 with the youth trio Kaylie Gill, Sam Tudor, and Rowan Dolighan with original and cover tunes, and the blues group My Wife’s Quartet.

The concert series was brought to the community by the City of Williams Lake and Cariboo Regional District, with support from local sponsors.

This summer the primary focus was on bringing local talent to the stage.

The series started July 4 Angelkeys Music Studio, featuring the sweet voices of Angelkeys Children’s Choir and solo performances by very talented young singers followed by the toe tapping tunes of the Old Time Fiddlers.

Through the summer many groups were featured such as the Colin Easthope and the Coal Harbour Band; Williams Lake Youth Fiddlers and Friends; Brent Morton; New Journey, Eagle Spirit Band, Jordan Holmes, Robyn Ferguson and Oren Barter, The Perfect Match, Brett Wildeman and other talented groups and individuals.
