Williams Lake Film Club donates to helping youth programs

Film club donated proceeds of film event towards supporting BGC Williams Lake Club

The Williams Lake Film Club donated the proceeds from their screening of the film The Boy and the Heron on Feb. 8 to the BGC Williams Lake Club.

The film screening raised $648.50 from the film event at the Paradise Cinemas.

The film club also donated tickets to BGC Williams Lake Club to bring youth to the show and Eric Davidson, youth programs leader at the BGC Williams Lake brought a group of around 13 youth to the show. Davidson introduced the film as well.

The Williams Lake Film Club is part of the Toronto International Film Festival film circuit and screens curated films monthly throughout the winter, on Thursday evenings.
