Williams Lake’s Walmart management and staff hold a hotdog barbecue fundraiser at the store on Friday afternoon to raise funds for Nicholas Paul, who is battling leukemia.
The hotdog sale raised $1,371.49, which was matched by Walmart — bringing the total amount to $2,742.98.
Those who couldn’t make it to the barbecue but would still like to help can also provide support to the Cops for Cancer Tour de North fundraiser, which features two local riders — Dave Dickson and Brian Evans. Visit www.cancer.ca for more details.
