Williams Lake's Community Action Team is hoping to give some unhoused people a boost on Nov. 20.

After a successful first try, the team will once again sponsor free haircuts for people facing homelessness in the lakecity.

Women and men wanting a free cut can drop in to the Canadian Mental Health Association office at 201 35 Second Avenue S. between 1-4 p.m.

Julie and Ricky, a two-person team from Advance Cuts will be providing haircut and barber services on a first-come, first-served basis. Hot chocolate and snacks will be provided as well.

A similar event took place in January, and it went over so well, with about 20 people able to have their hair cut, the team wanted to do it again.
