The Central Interior Arts Centre next to city hall will be filled this weekend with local artists and artisans selling their creations.

Upstairs in the main gallery you will find work by members of the Cariboo Art Society and the Cariboo Potter’s Guild today Friday, Nov. 7 from noon to 8 p.m. and Saturday Nov. 8 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Downstairs in their working studio, the Williams Lake Spinners, Weavers and Fibre Artists will be holding their annual Christmas sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday in their main floor workshop at the Central Interior Arts Centre.

Early Bird Craft Fair

Carmen’s Early Bird Christmas Craft Fair runs today Friday, Nov. 7 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 8 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Elks Hall.

This event features the work of many local artisans and small businesses providing hand made soaps, beauty products, woodwork, children’s fancy purses, photography, homemade food items such as perogies and cabbage rolls, Disney character blankets, alpaca scarves and much more.

Book sale supports community

The 24th annual Daybreak Rotary Club’s Giant Used Book Sale runs Friday, Nov. 7 to 15 in the Upper Level of Boitanio Mall. Book collection bins are located at Safeway, Save On Foods, Boitanio Mall main entrance, and the 150 Mile House Centre. Call 250-392-4498 for pickup or drop off at the book sale.

Proceeds go toward supporting Daybreak Rotary community projects.
