People who are interested in using their skills to become tutors for children and youth with learning disabilities are invited to participate in a tutor training workshop this month.
The workshop will be held from 9 a.m. until noon Saturday, Feb. 12 at the Child Development Centre office on Fourth Ave. South, across from Safeway.
People wishing to reserve a seat are asked to call 250-303-2354.
“I would also like to include an invitation to any would-be tutors to join us there and consider working with the LDA-WL to help struggling students,” says July Lyoness, office manager for the Learning Disabilities Association of B.C. Williams Lake Branch.
