Tsilhqot’in Horse and Bike Ride arrive for 95th Williams Lake Stampede

Residents were on hand to cheer on all the riders

The 20th annual Tsilhqot’in Horse and Bike Ride group arrived Wednesday afternoon, June 28 to the sights and sounds of residents cheering them on along Highway 20.

The group had been on their journey since last Saturday, June 24 to the 95th annual Williams Lake Stampede Saturday, leaving from Tl’etinqox First Nation.

The ride was started as a way to connect youth to horses and the land, and to give them something to look forward to each year.
